for the CAA 27th Annual Conference: Defying the Decibel
Dear Colleagues,
It is our pleasure to invite you to the 27th Annual Conference of the California Academy of Audiology, taking place in Costa Mesa from September 24–26, 2026. This year’s conference theme, Defying the Decibel, aims to go beyond the audiogram and explore the many ways we care for and support our patients.
The 2026 Conference Committee has worked extensively to develop a diverse educational program for hearing health care professionals and has confirmed an outstanding lineup of presenters who will share relevant and timely insights on a variety of topics, including cochlear implants, aural habilitation, educational audiology, aging and hearing loss, and hearing aids.
The Annual Conference will kick off on Thursday, September 24, 2026, with a Pre-Conference session focused on cochlear implants. The Welcome Reception will occur Thursday evening and open up the Exhibit Hall. All conference attendees are invited to join!
The main conference program on Friday, September 25, and Saturday, September 26, will feature two full days of educational presentations and networking opportunities.
We are pleased to once again offer audiology professionals and current Au.D. students the opportunity to share their research during the poster session on Friday. We are also excited to introduce student-focused concurrent programming on Saturday afternoon, designed to support Au.D. students. Attendees will also have opportunities to engage with exhibitors throughout the conference.
The CAA Annual Conference provides an exceptional opportunity for California hearing health care professionals to come together to learn, collaborate, and connect with colleagues from across the state. This event is uniquely designed to bring together professionals from all areas of audiology—including clinical, academic, educational, and research settings—to advance the field.
We cannot wait to Defy the Decibel and look Beyond the Audiogram with the California audiology community. We hope to see you in Costa Mesa in September!
