CAA Volunteer Opportunities

The CAA board has started a volunteer opportunity program designed for you, the Audiologists of California, to get involved in various State programs and issues. We would greatly appreciate your assistance in any of the areas listed below. New ideas and opinions are always welcomed.

Please review all the volunteer areas and let us know which one you would like to participate in. Volunteering allows you the opportunity to observe what your CAA board does for you, accomplishes tasks quicker, provides you with the experience needed to possibly become a future board member. Convention

The annual State convention is always an exciting event, however, there are many aspects and details to consider in order for this occasion to be successful. Volunteers are greatly appreciated and needed for both the planning process and during the convention itself.

Legislation

One of the more critical areas your CAA board works to support and advocate for California Audiologists. The opportunity to assist with legislative concerns can be very educational and empowering. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Website

An updated and easy to navigate website is an absolute must in any business today. CAA has been working hard to make sure our website is as efficient and easy to use as possible. The Website Committee is looking for volunteers who could be helpful in this area.

Newsletter

Keeping our current members updated on events, issues, and informative articles is important, so we can show how CAA is working for you. Additional assistance and ideas are welcomed in this area.

Membership

Your membership is the most important contribution to CAA. The greater our membership the stronger our voice will be when it comes to legislative issues. Maintaining one’s membership and gaining new members is always a priority for CAA. Your help with this endeavor will be greatly appreciated.
